About RoboWalker

We build open-source wheel-legged robot platforms so builders can move from unboxing to real projects in days, not months.

Our mission

Motion. Vision. Action.

RoboWalker exists to make capable robot hardware accessible. Every platform we ship includes schematics, firmware, and starter code — because the interesting part starts after you open the box.

We focus on development platforms, not closed toys: balance and jump controllers you can read, FOC motor code you can tune, and expansion points for cameras and sensors.

Company

RoboWalker is designed and operated by New Jersey Computer Vision Lab LLC, a U.S. company focused on embedded vision, motion control, and maker-friendly robotics.

Our team combines hardware engineering, computer vision, and open-source software. We test every platform before it ships and publish updates on GitHub so you always know what changed.

What we believe

  • Open by default — firmware, wiring diagrams, and SDK examples are public.
  • Build in public — playbooks and forum posts help the next builder go faster.
  • Honest specs — payload, runtime, and sensor lists reflect real bench tests.
  • Education first — classrooms, labs, and home workshops are all first-class users.
